Sorry

I'm sorry I've been absent again. I have tried to blog on quite a few occasions but have been unsuccessful. I have been trying to do this post for three days.

A couple of weeks ago Neil and I went to the Mall Galleries for the Prism exihibition and we weren't disappointed - it was much better than last year. I took lots of pictures which I will share with you over the next few posts. I can't put them all on at once blogger won't let me.

Leaves and Plate by Dorothy Tucker.

Plants and Leaves by Dorothy Tucker.

Flying Jewels by Anita Bruce. Anita is a local artist and is taking part in Peterborough Artists Open Studios . I have seen Anita's work before but this is the best I've seen. It's lovely and colourful and the shadows are pretty as well.

Sanctuary by Fiona Rainford. I love this piece it's so textural.

All Patched Up by Debbie Williams. Such a fun piece.

I am sorry for my absence and I'm grateful to those who have asked after me. I don't get many comments on my blog so it always surprises me how many people do read it and ask why I haven't blogged for a while. I've been poorly again, all over bank holiday weekend. I managed to stick it out until Wednesday when the doctors re-opened. He prescribed another course of antibiotics but they didn't seem to help and I ended up in hospital on Friday morning and didn't get out until the Sunday evening. Still none the wiser as to the problem although they do suspect a couple of problems and I have to go back for tests. So still a case of wait and see.

On a much happier note our second grandchild is expected tomorrow. It is going to be a cesarean delivery as baby is a footling breech. The parents have been very un co-operative and haven't asked to be told the sex of the baby so after work I am off to Next to buy outfits in blue and pink and I will take back the one I don't need. Also Anthony and Nicki are expecting another baby, October/November time. So Christmas time is going to be busy in our house, I can't wait.

Hope you feel better soon - the pictures from the exhibition are all inspirational, I especially like the Dorothy Tucker ones.

Do hope they find out the problem, so frustrating when that happens.
The imminent grand children sound like fun for the future.
I feel abit the same way, sometimes wonder why I blog for so few comments.

It is nice to have you back and hopefully after the tests are completed fully on the mend.
